Kelin drew attention to the British media’s agenda about the alleged failures of the Russian Armed Forces

Russian Ambassador to Great Britain Andrei Kelin drew attention to the agenda of the British media about the recent alleged failures of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.

He told the British Sky News channel: “In recent weeks, I have noticed the launch of a large-scale campaign in the British media and around the world about how the situation in Ukraine has changed. Kiev has allegedly gained new strength, but Moscow does not have the strength to continue the special operation, the front line is frozen, and there is no movement.”

The diplomat added that to promote such an agenda, the British media exploited the spring delay in the Russian army’s advance in Ukraine due to weather conditions.

– There were some counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but they were all repelled. The summer offensive begins, the front line again moves from east to west. “On average, about ten settlements are liberated per week,” Kelin said.

On June 1, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that fighters of the Russian Armed Forces cleared the village of Tikhonovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic of enemy formations.

The previous day, the Russian military attacked transport and energy infrastructure facilities used for the Ukrainian armed forces. The operation used operational tactical aviation, attack UAVs, missile forces and artillery from groups of the Russian Armed Forces.
