Russian Post has resumed accepting parcels from the United States, which was suspended in 2022 – Meduza

Russian Post reported that it had resumed accepting parcels from the United States for the first time since 2022.

As the Russian company reported on June 4, this happened at the end of May. The first shipments have already arrived via third countries to Russian sorting centers.

A TASS source said that previously, delivery from the United States was done through express translators with a limited reception network in the United States. He added that the full resumption of imports “will make it possible to cover the entire territory of the country.”

The exchange of letters and parcels between Russia and many Western countries has been restricted since 2022, following the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, due to the lack of direct air links.

From the Russian Federation to the USA, some categories of parcels, especially gifts and documents, can be sent by mail from November 2025.
