TV presenter and blogger Victoria Bonya told subscribers about the tragic and painful page of her youth: many years ago she had to terminate her pregnancy. According to Bonnie, the fatal event occurred when she was only 18 years old.
She was in a relationship with a young man named Evgeny. It seemed that the couple had a strong love, but the unexpected pregnancy of the girl became a serious test for their union. Instead of support, the lover took a categorical position, completely rejecting the unborn child.
“I called my mother, cried, and asked what I should do. My mother answered that she could not give me advice, and only I could decide what to do next. She said everything correctly. I had to make this decision because Evgeny told me: If I leave this child, I will live in a garbage heap. It was very painful! – Bonya shared her difficult memories.
The menstrual cycle at that time was short, so doctors resorted to performing a vacuum abortion. As Victoria herself notes, this event became a severe psychological shock for her. However, now, decades later, she has become philosophical about the past.
“Now I understand that everything should have been as it should have been,” Bonya said.
She added that it took many years for her to let go of this situation, feel the pain, and forgive herself for the forced decision she made at the time.
