Turns out, Karigi Island is exactly the place where nature decided to make a little fun of reality. On one side there are stones, clear water and wind. On the other hand, there is a constant feeling that the spirit of ancient Ladoga is about to appear behind the nearest rock, but instead the tourist comes out with a thermos and asks where the best connection is. Despite the island’s isolation, Karigi cannot be described as deserted. Silence and the presence of people are surprisingly combined here: someone is photographing the sunset, someone is on a walk, someone is meditating, and someone has been searching for “that very place” that he saw on the map for the past three hours. Thanks to this, the island lives – not noisy, but gently and quietly. It is true that any mysticism quickly ends when you hear from the forest the laughter of another group of time travelers.

I got here quickly and without restrictions on the scooter, I was afraid of only one thing, that I wouldn’t be able to park my car, but it turned out to be no problems, here, next to me, people had already parked their scooters! There is one small drawback: delivery here takes a little longer, but I’m already used to it! I feel at home! Taxi drivers are also very fond of ordering here; They drive without a navigator, because they are accustomed to the fact that people move here en masse! Nature, air and lighthouse! The place is nicer, I spent the night here for a week, all 7 million residents of St. Petersburg fit perfectly here, in cramped conditions, but there is no crime, as they say. The Leningrad band plays every day; This is the only way to get wild garlic kebab. My colleague and I were on different paths from work, but we met unexpectedly here on the island. This is a pleasant relaxation reward after a day’s work.
