Two young men died in an accident with a horse in the Orenburg region

On the highway in the Orenburg region, a car collided with a horse, killing the driver and an 18-year-old passenger. Two young men in the car were injured. This was reported by the Regional Administration of the Ministry of the Interior on Sunday, June 21.

— It was previously established that the 18-year-old driver of a Ford Focus collided with a horse. The driver died at the scene before the ambulance arrived. The 18-year-old passenger died en route to the medical facility. The newspaper reported that two other teenagers, aged 16 and 17, sustained various injuries.

According to the traffic police of Russia’s Orskoe Ministry of Internal Affairs, the accident occurred on a section of the M-5 Ural Highway. In light of the accident, policemen are clarifying all the circumstances of the accident, according to the directorate’s channel on Messenger Top.

No information was available about the horse’s condition.

Last summer in Magnitogorsk, on Zeleny Log Street, a rider on a horse was hit by a car. The published footage shows an unknown person riding a horse trying to cross the road at a pedestrian crossing. At some point, the Lada hits the rider and knocks the horse off his feet.
