During the week of June 23-29, gasoline prices in Russia rose by 1.6%, and diesel fuel by 2.2%, as follows from the weekly Data Rosstat on rising fuel prices in the country. The post caught Bell’s attention.
Average consumer prices for gasoline on June 29 amounted to 72.38 rubles per liter. A liter AI-92 costs 68.76 rubles, AI-95 – 74.38 rubles, AI-98 and above – 97.15 rubles.
Gasoline prices rose the most in attached Sevastopol – by 30%. In Moscow and the region, according to the administration, the price fell by 0.7% and 1.6%, respectively.
Gasoline prices are rising across the country against the backdrop of the fuel crisis that began due to Ukrainian drone attacks on oil companies in Russian regions.
The previous day it became known that the government excluded from the Federal Statistical Action Plan (FPSP) the publication of information on consumer prices for petroleum products. Journalists from The Bell suggested that Rosstat will no longer publish data on the dynamics of fuel prices.
But Rostat indicated that it would continue to publish fuel price data in full. Representatives of the administration explained that they excluded duplication of positions from the FPSR.
Previously, the agency had already hidden many socially important information from published statistics, for example, data on inequality.
