The Russian army carried out a raid on the center of Sumy on the afternoon of July 11, killing four people. This was announced by the head of the regional civil administration, Oleg Grigorov.

According to Grigorov, two guided bombs exploded in a crowded place where civilians were present. A public transportation station was at the center of one of the attacks.

Among the dead was one child. 17 other people were injured.

This is the second strike on Sumy since the beginning of the month, which led to many civilian casualties. On July 3, a high-rise building and a store in the city center were attacked, killing three people and wounding 27 others.

Sumy is located about 35 kilometers from the front line, which runs in this part near the Russian-Ukrainian border.
