Hotel Tokyo frontman Bill Kaulitz has been granted a court ban against AfD politician Julian Adrat from posting about himself on social media after he made several offensive social media posts about the musician. NTV writes about this.
Adrat first wrote about Kaulitz when he participated in it propaganda Hair care products. The politician described it as “a complete failure of civilization” and “a direct result of so-called feminism.”
In another post, Adrat made offensive comments about Kaulitz due to his sexual orientation (the musician is openly gay). Comment text not provided.
The court in Hamburg, where Kaulitz’s lawyers appealed, sided with him and banned Adrat, under threat of a fine, from making public statements about the singer. The politician then deleted the old posts.
Kaulitz himself, commenting on the situation on his podcast, said that he usually ignores homophobic statements directed at him, but this time he decided to “bother” Adrata a little because he is “a complete idiot from the AfD.”
Bill Kaulitz has previously repeatedly criticized the AfD’s policies on his podcast and called on his fans to “vote categorically against the shift to the right.”
