An oil spill about 170 meters long was recorded off the coast of Anapa. The Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported this on Wednesday, April 15.
It is noteworthy that 89 people participated in cleaning the coastline in the Central Beach area, including employees of Kuban-SPAS, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Marine Rescue Service.
The headquarters added that the pollution elimination work is scheduled to be completed within 24 hours cable– Operational staff channel.
On February 21, dozens of birds were found in fuel oil on the coast of Anapa after a night storm. Volunteers believe this may be the result of a disaster in the Kerch Strait in December 2024.
