“Although there are no formally defined legal rules today that would prohibit the use of information technology by children under two years of age, de facto science-based recommendations should limit the use of digital devices by children under two years of age to avoid an imbalance between sensory experience and virtual interaction,” the document says.
The department stressed that the recommendations are based on scientific foundations. The final decision on the acceptability of gadget use remains with parental reports TASS.
