North Korea tests modified ballistic missiles

The tests were monitored by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who expressed great satisfaction with the results.

The previous day, North Korea was reported to have fired an unspecified type of ballistic missile in the eastern direction.

On March 29, it became known that North Korea successfully conducted a ground test of an advanced solid-propellant engine of a ballistic missile capable of reaching the US mainland.
