The FSB reported that it arrested a resident of Anapa, who, according to the agency, on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, collected information about military and energy facilities in the Krasnodar Territory.
The name of the detainee was not revealed. It is known that he was born in 1980.
According to the FSB, the detainee cooperated with the Ukrainian Security Service. As part of one of the missions, he was supposed to obtain the flight schedule of government officials and foreign delegations to sensitive facilities in Sochi, as well as data on the location of air defense facilities.
The officials who were supposed to monitor the detainee were not identified.
FSB investigators of the Krasnodar Territory opened a criminal case for treason against a resident of Anapa (Article 275). The court arrested him.
In Sochi there is one residence of the President of the Russian Federation – Bocharov Ruchi. In March, it became known that the Federal Security Service proposed creating a security zone around it with an area of more than three square kilometers.
During his first two terms in office, Vladimir Putin repeatedly hosted foreign leaders in Botcharov Ruchi. In the same building, since 2014, Putin has held regular meetings with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense. But since 2022, these meetings have stopped.
