The FSB plans to reduce passing scores in physical training for candidates for military service under a contract in the department, as well as for applicants to its educational institutions. “Planning” drew attention to the corresponding draft of the FSB order.
The current version of the criteria has been in effect since 2016. In the new version, the administration plans to significantly reduce the required indicators, especially for older candidates.
So, for example, men over 50 years old will have to score only 60 points for three physical exercises (one for strength, one for speed, one for endurance), men 45-49 years old – 70 points. According to current standards, the minimum number required is 140 points.
The draft document does not specify why the decision was made to revise the standards.
