Paul McCartney’s new album “The Boys of Dungeon Lane” topped the British charts in its first week of release.
McCartney’s album reached number one for a record twenty-fourth time, including his solo works and albums recorded by the Beatles and Wings.
“You know what? Our album is number one! There’s no place higher. And we’re so happy. My team and the whole gang that worked on it did an amazing job, thanks to all of them. And thanks to everyone who bought it! And thank you!” — He said Paul McCartney.
“The Boys of Dungeon Lane” was released on May 29. This is Paul McCartney’s 20th solo album and first since 2020. Then “McCartney III” was released – it also reached number one in the British charts.
In the new album, McCartney remembers his childhood and his friends in the Beatles. ‘The Boys of Dungeon Lane’ is named after an alley on the outskirts of Liverpool where they all spent a lot of time. Ringo Starr participated in the recording of the album.
