Travelers can meet characters from popular animation projects of the Riki Group of Companies.
At the request of passengers, the operation of the unusual branded train on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line has been extended until August 31. The project, created jointly with the Riki Group of Companies, brought together the heroes of the popular domestic animated series.
A themed train with cartoon characters was launched on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line in November 2025. The main idea of the project is to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of knowledge through modern Russian animation.
Moscow youth and guests of the capital can not only see their favorite characters, but also learn rare educational facts from the world of science, ecology, music, art and geography. Moscow Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov said that the train carrying Russian cartoon characters will continue to run on the Arbatskoe-Pokrovskaya line until the end of the summer due to great interest from Muscovites and tourists. Passengers have already made about 3.6 million trips. We expect this number to increase by the end of the summer by about 800,000 trips.
The train cars feature characters from 10 popular Russian animated series. The project introduces the multi-million dollar metro audience to the Russian animation school. In 2026, he won the Riki Award, winning the Best Marketing Initiative category.
