Representatives of the American delegation are heading to Islamabad to conduct negotiations with Iran, which will be held on April 20, as stated by US President Donald Trump.
The White House head added that Washington is offering Tehran a “reasonable and fair deal.” At the same time, he warned that if negotiations were rejected, the United States was prepared to strike power plants and bridges in Iran.
In addition, Trump said that the previous day, Iran had fired on a French ship and a British cargo ship. According to him, due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the country is losing about $500 million daily.
-We offer a fair and reasonable deal. I hope Iran will accept it. If not, the United States will destroy every power station and every bridge in Iran. “I will no longer be Mr. Nice Guy,” Trump wrote on his social network, Truth Social.
Earlier, the US President said that the US military would not participate in a possible operation to remove enriched uranium from Iran.
Trump also said that the US blockade of Iranian sea ports continues, despite the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, the corresponding measure will remain in effect until the agreement with Tehran is fully implemented.
