Commander of the Armed Forces for Unmanned Systems, Robert Brovdi (known by the call sign “Madyar”), said that Ukrainian drones attacked the Crimean Titan factory in Armeniansk in the annexed Crimean peninsula.
As a result of the strike on the night of June 13, a strong fire broke out at the enterprise and production stopped. Provdi confirmed that the “Crimean Titan” produces raw materials for the manufacture of gunpowder, rocket fuel and explosives.
The Russian-appointed head of the Armyansk administration, Vasily Telizhenko, wrote on his VKontakte page about the “emergency situation” on the Crimean Titan.
Telezhenko did not specify any details about what happened, but he assured residents that “all services participating in the liquidation are carrying out tasks to eliminate the incident.” He added: “It is not permissible to exceed the maximum permissible concentrations of substances.”
Ukrainian channel “Wind of Crimea” He writesthat residents complain on local public pages about the smell of sulfur and smoke in Armyansk. “The entire factory was destroyed. There were 23 arrivals,” the Telegram channel quoted one post. At the same time, Crimean Winds sources reported that the enterprise’s workers were not evacuated – “they were asked to sit until the end of the work shift.”
Crimean Titan is the largest titanium dioxide production enterprise in Eastern Europe.
