On the night of May 30, Ukrainian drones struck Taganrog in the Rostov Oblast, Armavir in the Krasnodar Territory, and Feodosia in the annexed Crimea.

The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, said that a tanker and fuel tanks caught fire, in addition to an administrative building in the port of Taganrog. He added that people were not harmed.

The port’s “loading infrastructure” was also damaged, and windows were broken in several buildings in the city, including a kindergarten, said the city’s mayor, Svetlana Kambulova. She added that two people were injured as a result of drone debris that struck a private house. After the attack, the city authorities decided to “expand the boundaries of the state of emergency” that had been imposed on May 27 after the previous drone strike.

The mayor stated that the fire in the port was extinguished and no oil leakage occurred.

Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdiy (call sign “Madyar”), said that a tanker of the “Shadow Fleet” and an oil depot “Kurganneft Product” were hit in the port of Taganrog.

In Crimea, due to Ukrainian drone attacks on the federal highway R-280 Novorossiya, which connects the peninsula with the Rostov region, a gasoline shortage began. At gas stations, you can buy no more than 20 liters per day, while many gas stations simply do not have fuel.

He added: “We are right to return the war to where it came from. Russia could have ended its aggression a long time ago, but it chose to postpone and continue.”

Sergey (Novorossiysk). Before, a very long time ago, when I saw military records from Syria, I thought: Well, how do people there live under constant bombardment, why don’t they leave? Then I already received the answer to my question, when Novorossiysk first began to arrive, first by drone boats, then by drones. It turns out that a person is very adaptable to any conditions. The first few times it’s scary, but then you get used to it and live as if nothing happened, sometimes just complaining after a hard shift: “Again, sirens, explosions, let me sleep.”

Even when you fly next door, there is no fear, you just think of it as an accident. It’s like dying in a traffic accident: that’s how circumstances developed. Changing your lifestyle becomes more difficult when you love your city and don’t want to change your job and life for something else. You adapt to the changing rules of the game. Many others live. Few of my friends left the city, let alone traveled abroad. I think other cities, like Moscow, will get used to this over time and move on as if nothing had happened.

What is most surprising is the community’s reaction to the siege, not the war and constant attacks. This speaks very clearly about the current priorities in people’s lives.
