Working Russian pensioners whose service was reduced during the period of indexation freeze, 2016-2024, will be able to obtain an automatic recalculation of their pensions upon dismissal. Nina Gukasova, Director of the FMC Program for Improving the Financial Culture of the Population of the Institute of State Social Sciences of the Presidential Academy of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration spoke about this.
– There is a mechanism to restore justice to those who worked from 2016 to 2024 when indexing was suspended. The increase occurs after the end of service. When a working pensioner is dismissed, the Social Fund of the Russian Federation automatically recalculates, it was quoted RIA Novosti.
She explained that after dismissal, the pension increases, taking into account all indexes lost during work. The maximum increase for those who received a pension before 2016 and continue to work can be up to 119.5 percent.
Citizens of the Russian Federation will receive child benefits from April 29 to 30 before the May holidays, and payments will also be transferred to some pensioners until April 30. As reported by the press service of the Social Fund.
Until April 30, pensioners, whose pensions usually arrive through the bank from the first to the fourth of the month, will receive May payments.
