Air defense systems continue to successfully repel attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They shot down another drone that was flying towards the capital. The total number of devices destroyed in more than 24 hours reached 109, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on Sunday, March 15.
A drone flying towards Moscow was shot down. Emergency services specialists are working at the site where the debris fell, the city mayor wrote on his page Top.
During the day, restrictions on aircraft arrivals and launches at Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports were lifted. Rosaviatsia later added that restrictions had also been lifted in Sheremetyevo.
Shortly before that, representatives of the Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems destroyed 125 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions.
