Sobyanin talked about building a pedestrian gallery between Pechatniki stations

In the capital, construction of a pedestrian gallery begins between the Pechatniki stations of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya and MCD-2 metro lines. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Friday, March 20.

He explained: “It will pass under the fourth section of the southern direction of the Moscow high-speed district within the boundaries of Shusinaya, Bulbina and Goryanov streets.”

On the north side, the gallery will join the entrance group of the second diagonal covering the bus station pavilion, and on the south side – to the metro lobby. The latter will be used as an additional exit with a canopy.

In addition, the specialists will equip the new entrance with two sets of doors – three in each, and will landscape the surrounding area.

“After all the work is completed, transportation between the metro, MCD-2 and the ground urban transport station will be reduced and become more comfortable,” the city president noted. Top.

The day before, on March 19, Sobyanin said that new roads will connect the northwest and west of Moscow: a route will appear from Shelepekhinskoye Highway to the North-West Highway. It is planned to rebuild sections of Novozavodskaya Street and Beregovoy Proezd. This will reduce travel time between Khoroshevo-Mnevniki and Velevsky Park districts, as well as increase transport accessibility to social facilities. After completing the work, the land transportation road network will be modified.
