At the capital show “Field of Miracles” on March 20, the head of the vocal studio “Komelvo” from Volgograd, Anastasia Serebryakova, performed with the children and sang a song about turning off the Internet. “Planning” drew attention to this.
The children in the song sing that because of the internet outage, “no blogs, no channels,” they play badminton: “What a scary dream?” The team leader responds by offering to distribute Wi-Fi to everyone, because “there’s no more running around in the yard.”
The song also says that “phones are useless”, and that “blue light from the screen” won’t ruin the kids’ lunch. Additionally, the song suggests not worrying about crashing online lessons with a teacher, because “it’s actually more fun to see friends nearby.”
The chorus of the song contains the following lines:
- We don’t want, we don’t want –
- You will not catch the network.
- We do not sit, do not sit on your Internet.
- We don’t want to, we don’t want to
- We don’t sit, we don’t sit.
- We declare the year – everything is the opposite.
As “Layout” notes, Serebryakova’s studio is located in the municipal entertainment complex “21st Century”, created by the Volgograd administration.
In Russian cities, problems with mobile Internet are regularly observed. The authorities explain the restrictions imposed by the threat of attacks by Ukrainian drones.
Telegram is actively blocked in Russia. On March 20, the messenger was available in one out of three cases.
