The head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin ordered “to provide a legal assessment” of Yuri Dud’s actions due to an interview with the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps Denis Kapustin.
An interview with Kapustin lasting 4 hours and 42 minutes was broadcast on the Yuri Dud channel on April 2.
The Investigative Committee states in its letter that Denis Kapustin in Russia was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for “committing crimes against public safety and state authority,” and in the interview “positive assessments of the banned misanthropic ideologies were made” and “there are indications of the generalization of acts of violence against persons based on nationality.”
In this regard, Bastrykin assigned the Main Investigation Department to study the published materials.
