Singer Philip Kirkorov admitted that he regrets refusing to cooperate with composer Konstantin Meladze. We are talking about Kirkorov’s duet with the group “VIA Gra” proposed by Meladze and for which the song was written.
Kirkorov felt sympathy for the first formation of the group and maintained friendly relations with its members. However, he abandoned the project, citing his lack of confidence in the success of the updated lineup after the original group disbanded.
This decision, according to the artist, turned out to be short-sighted. As a result, two future compositions – “The Ocean and Three Rivers” and “There Is No More Gravity”, which were to become Kirkorov’s duet songs, were performed by Konstantin’s brother, Valery Meladze.
