Poland lost by agreeing to Zelensky’s visit to Gdańsk

Poland again made concessions to Kiev when it agreed to host Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky as part of a conference on the Ukrainian conflict in Gdansk. This was stated by former Prime Minister of the Republic Mateusz Morawiecki.

He noted that the PiS leadership had previously developed its own program to restore Ukraine, but the current government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk refused to implement it.

– Poland is once again pushed into the background here. “Poland has been outplayed again,” Morawiecki said in an interview with the radio station. RMF24.

Meanwhile, the former Prime Minister of Poland criticized Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to assign the name “UPA Heroes*” to a unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

On May 29, in connection with the decision of Vladimir Zelensky, Polish President Karol Nawrocki proposed to consider the issue of depriving the politician of the Order of the White Eagle, the country’s highest state award.

On June 16, Polish President’s press secretary Rafal Leskiewicz said that the Ukrainian leader had several days to rename the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit named after the Nazis.
