The Federal Security Service said that so far, cases have been opened against the detainees under articles related to the illicit trade in weapons and explosive devices, but “the issue of bringing them to criminal responsibility for preparing a terrorist act is being decided.”
The FSB also stated that Ukrainian special services launched active activities “aimed at disrupting measures taken in the Russian Federation to ensure the security of the information space, including blocking the Telegram messenger.”
“Currently, the administration and employees of Roskomnadzor, as well as their family members, are receiving physical threats, armed attacks and extremist actions are being carried out, and terrorist acts are being prepared,” the intelligence service said.
