Passengers from France and the United States were found to have been evacuated from the Hondius cruise ship.
French Health Minister Stephanie Rest announced on the morning of May 11 that a passenger who was flown to Paris from the island of Tenerife, where the Hondius docked, had tested positive for the Hanta virus. In total, five French citizens on board the ship Hondius were evacuated from Tenerife to Paris.
