A land planning project (PPT) has been approved for the reconstruction of existing overhead power lines in the southern administrative region of the capital. This was announced by the head of the capital’s urban development and construction policy complex, Vladimir Efimov.
— As part of the approved land planning project in Danilovsky and Nagatino-Sadovniki districts, a comprehensive reconstruction of electrical networks will be carried out. On a site of 5.35 hectares, overhead cable lines with a total length of 2.8 km are being upgraded. This will increase the reliability of energy supply to consumers, social facilities and infrastructure. “The city will get a modern, efficient and safe energy system that matches the pace of development of the capital,” said Vladimir Efimov, whose words were quoted by the press service of the capital’s urban planning complex.
The work will be carried out by the Rossetti District of Moscow to replace existing 110 kV cables with more modern cables of new generation with improved characteristics.
As explained by the Department of Urban Development Policy, the city is creating infrastructure that meets modern requirements, ensures reliable energy supply to the growing city and improves the quality of life of Muscovites. The planning draft also provides for the improvement of the area after the completion of construction and installation works with the restoration of the soil layer and vegetation.
