In the Moscow region on Friday, June 19, until 21:00, intermittent rain, thunderstorms and increasing wind gusts of up to 15 meters per second are expected. This was stated in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region with reference to the forecasts of the Central Administration of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.
– Over the next hour or two, until 21:00 on June 19, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected in places throughout the Moscow region. The message says that winds intensify during a thunderstorm, with gusts reaching speeds of up to 15 meters per second.

According to the leading specialist of the Meteonovosti agency, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, at the beginning of next week, Moscow will witness rain and thunderstorms, while the air temperature will rise to 24 degrees Celsius. She pointed out that heat waves are not expected to occur in Moscow in the near future, and the temperature in the capital will depend on rainfall and cloud cover.
In turn, the head of the Rochedromet Crisis Management Department, Anatoly Tsygankov, said that hot weather will return to the Moscow region only in July, and this month only one day will approach the temperature – June 21.
