In Pyatigorsk, while unloading a gas tanker, an explosion occurred, after which a fire broke out. This was announced by city mayor Dmitry Voroshilov on Saturday, May 16.
According to him, all necessary forces and means were sent to the scene to end the emergency. Voroshilov himself also arrived at the scene.
The mayor stressed that the incident was not related to a drone attack. According to the preliminary version, the reason may be a violation of safety rules.
