Average pension for working Russians

The average pension of working Russians in March exceeded 23.4 thousand rubles; Over the year it increased by about 2.5 thousand rubles. This was reported by RIA Novosti on Thursday, April 30, citing data from the Social Fund of the Russian Federation.

As of March 1 of this year, working pensioners received an average of 23,461 rubles. A year ago, the pension amount was 20,972 rubles.

Obviously, working pensioners receive the least in the Republic of Dagestan – 16,870 rubles, and the highest average pension was recorded in Chukotka – 38,581 rubles, it is said in condition.

State Duma deputy Alexei Govrin said that pensions in the Russian Federation will be increased next year in different ways, depending on the category of beneficiaries. Insurance pensions will be indexed twice: from February 1 – according to inflation, from April 1 – taking into account Social Fund income and wage growth. The parliamentarian explained that social pensions will be increased only on April 1.

Some retirees will receive their May pension early due to the upcoming holidays. Early payment will affect those to whom funds are usually transferred via the bank from the 1st to the 4th of the month.
