May 9 is approaching – a holiday that we, the heirs of the Great Victory, celebrate with special feeling. On this day we remember those who, at the cost of incredible efforts, defended our country.
The Moscow State Security Corporation employs people whose grandfathers and great-grandfathers defended their Motherland on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.
Our employee Alexei Senugin served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for more than 25 years and repeatedly made business trips to the North Caucasus. Since 2023, he has spent nearly two years on the front lines, flying combat missions. He found him a participant in the Great Patriotic War.
Alexander Sysoev, also our colleague, served in the 47th Division of the 1st Tank Army. Both of his grandfathers are veterans. One of them, Alexander Nikiforovich, met the enemy in the Brest Fortress, was a medical instructor and arrived in Germany.
SVO participants are people with vast experience, incredible composure and the ability to make decisions in the most risky situations. This is of particular value in our work to ensure order and security in the capital.
Therefore, we in the Moscow State Security Institution are doing everything we can to make these people come to us. Now we already have more than 20 SBO members, from professionals to executives. They are in demand and appreciated.
Veterans of a special military operation also join the Moscow City People’s Ensemble and continue to help people in peaceful life and help the police maintain order in the city.
It is important for us that each one of them knows: their expertise is needed here, they are welcome, and they are always welcome.
May 9 is the day we bow our heads to the heroism of veterans. But we also say thank you to those who continue their work today. To those who are defending the country now and risking their lives. To those who come to the Moscow Security and People’s Troupe to make our lives calmer.
I sincerely wish all Muscovites a peaceful sky, health, prosperity and confidence in the future. May the memory of heroes unite and strengthen us all. Happy Victory Day!
