The head of the Meteorological Forecasting Center, Alexander Shuvalov, said in a conversation with Vechernaya Moskva that next week the temperature in Moscow will return to more than 30 degrees.
– The capital region will be in the warm sector of the upcoming southern cyclone, where air temperatures could rise to 30 degrees Celsius. The expert confirmed that such warming is expected in Moscow and the Moscow region on Thursday and Friday.
Shuvalov added that after the temperature rises, rain may return to the capital region. However, it is difficult to determine exactly which days the rain will fall, according to the expert.
— Rainfall may move north: Most of the week the cyclone will be over Finland, where all frontal parts will push through. The meteorologist indicated that Moscow will be at the back of this hurricane.
Alexander Shuvalov also told in a conversation with VM when the rains will end in Moscow. It was previously reported that rain is expected in the capital region for 10 days.
Due to the thunderstorm, the “yellow” alert level was declared in Moscow until 21:00 on Saturday, July 4. The same warning will be in effect in the Moscow region until 21:00 on Sunday, July 5.
