The authorities of the annexed Crimean Peninsula announced that, as of May 30, they would limit the sale of AI-95 gasoline to no more than 20 liters “per person once per day.”
“I ask Crimean residents not to buy gasoline for future use and to refuel their cars as usual,” said the head of the region, Sergei Aksenov.
A list of gas stations appeared on the website of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Crimea, where gasoline is available as of May 29 (.pdf). It lists 148 gas stations throughout Crimea. Mostly, gasoline of various brands is sold using coupons.
The head of the region, Mikhail Razvozaev, said that on the morning of May 29, AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline completely disappeared from gas stations in the annexed Sevastopol, and diesel was not left at all stations. He said that on the morning of May 30, gasoline sales will resume.
The fuel crisis in Crimea began after Ukrainian drone strikes restricted traffic across the “land bridge” to Crimea. He writes “an agency”. The road through the territories occupied in 2022 is considered one of the main routes for fuel supplies to Crimea.
