In Sokolniki, the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile system was installed on the roof of a high-rise residential building

In Moscow’s Sokolniki district, a Pantsir anti-aircraft missile system was installed on the roof of a high-rise residential building. The agency reported this.

The installation appeared on the roof of the “House in Sokolniki” complex on June 5, and the air defense system was delivered by helicopter.

As the agency wrote, it is likely that we are talking about the Pantsir-SMD-E modification, designed to combat drones.

At the end of May, a similar “Pantsir” was installed on the roof of the Nordstar Tower business center on Pigovaya Street. This building belongs to the district company associated with Rosneft.

Moscow has been subjected to repeated attacks by Ukrainian drones in recent weeks. The most massive attack since the beginning of the war occurred on May 17: then three people were killed in the Moscow region and 17 others were injured.
