In the Otradnoye district, a major renovation of a residential building built in 1978 has been completed

Within the framework of the capital’s program of capital repairs of the housing stock in northeastern Moscow, the renovation of house No. 2 on Khachaturian Street was completed. The facade of the facility has been cleaned.

Modern technology using polymer cement mixtures on reinforcing meshes to restore the facades of houses decorated with rectangular glazed tiles is an opportunity to give houses of late Soviet construction a second life. Initially, wall panels received their own cladding in production; Now, when carrying out major repairs, on-site specialists return the original technical characteristics to the facade surfaces, and the house becomes more energy efficient and beautiful.

For the convenience of residents, all restoration activities have been divided into several stages. First, preparatory work was carried out, such as tapping the facade and removing loose tiles; Specialists washed the walls well using special cleaning agents. Next, adhesive compositions with reinforcing mesh and decorative compositions were applied. After complete preparation of the facade planes, we began sealing the welds and painting the facade. In the final phase, the entrance lobbies, balconies and basement of the building were renovated, and modern windows were installed in the common areas.

The twelve-storey residential building was built in 1978 according to a standard series project. The building has a simple plan, with an adjacent building adjacent to the house. The structure of the facades consists of arranging the loggia in a certain order. It is interesting to note that the Likhoborka River flows next to the house.
