In the Primorsky Territory, the sale of fuel for trucks was limited: up to 100 liters within the city and up to 200 liters on the highway. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government Vladimir Malyushitsky.
“These quantities were introduced due to the fact that unscrupulous consumers load up to a thousand tons into trucks, then drive off, refuel and then refuel again,” Malyushitsky explained.
In addition, there are still restrictions on the sale of gasoline and diesel in cans. At the same time, Malyushitsky stressed that the Primorsky Territory is fully supplied with fuel for the summer season, and as soon as the rapid demand subsides, all imposed restrictions will be removed.
The fuel crisis, which began in Russia after Ukrainian armed forces struck oil refineries, has affected almost all regions. In many of them, restrictions on the sale of gasoline and diesel have been imposed at the government level; In other cases, fuel sales are limited to the gas stations themselves; There are long queues in front of gas stations.
On Sunday, June 28, Vladimir Putin held a meeting on fuel issues, in which he admitted that there were queues at gas stations, and that the right brand of gasoline “cannot always be found.” He later added that there is a fuel shortage, but it is “not critical” and “temporary.”
