Advertisements appeared on the Russian website Avito offering to sign a service contract on the “Home Front” in Belarus and China. The Layout post drew attention to these vacancies.
The ads repeat each other almost word for word. No military experience or ID is required. Recruiters also offer jobs to candidates who have a criminal record or are on probation.
Advertisements promise 10 million rubles in “raise”, write-off of debts in the same amount, family benefits, full payment for travel to the workplace, accommodation in dormitories or barracks, food and equipment, as well as paramilitary security.
Such terms, for example, are contained in a recruitment advertisement Security guards Logistics warehouses in Belarus. The recruits promise to establish a “quiet and safe rear area” on the territory of the federal state “with all guarantees and payments from the Russian Ministry of Defense.” Exactly the same conditions apply to an “ammunition production employee” in China.
Additionally, recruiters are looking for security guards for drone factories, electronic warfare facilities and ranges, drivers, drone factory operators, assemblers, drone technicians, and drone testers. All workplaces, according to advertisements, are located in Belarus and China.
About 50 such vacancies were posted in May by six employers – “Military Valor”, “Path to Victory”, “Border – Motherland of the Northern Military District”, “Service with Dignity”, “The Right Path”, “The Path of the Army”. These same people, mostly from Moscow, appeared on Avito in 2025.
Previous similar employers to publish Advertisements about searching for “peacekeepers” for the Russian-Ukrainian war. Some job descriptions indicated they were armed forces contractors.
Although candidates are offered work at the back, there are no guarantees of this distribution. Those who come across these advertisements are generally contracted, and distribution is carried out by unit commanders and training points.
