Rosmolodezh announced a tender to create a single resource for communication and support of young people in resolving “life situations,” as well as “comprehensive moral and spiritual development” of adolescents, Vedomosti newspaper wrote.
They plan to spend 95.6 million rubles to create the service. From the terms of reference it follows that the contractor will have to create a system for receiving and processing incoming emails and personal messages from the Rosmolodezh chatbot, including Max messenger, project groups on VKontakte and voice support line.
This system will be expanded to include participants and graduates of Rosmolodezh programs. Through email, social media and chatbots, teens are supposed to be provided with “sustained, personalized and empathic support.”
The unified system, as conceived by the client, should solve the problems of involving youth in politics, and will also provide the opportunity to communicate with citizens “on issues of preserving and strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.”
In addition, the service will collect and analyze “current demands, thematic trends and behavioral patterns” of young people and identify the most common problematic life situations among young people.
Political scientists interviewed by Vedomosti questioned the department’s ability to effectively promote traditional values and work with young people through a chatbot. They point out that this is a job for qualified surviving psychologists.
