Earlier, information appeared on the Internet that Semenov could become Shurygina’s lawyer. He said that he offered her his services, indicating that he did not hold a grudge against the girl and wanted to help her. Semenov also said that Shurygina’s parents had previously offered him to “settle” the criminal case for 1 million rubles.
On the afternoon of June 16, the Troitsky District Court in Moscow placed Diana Shurygina under house arrest until July 19 on suspicion of distributing pornographic materials. According to the investigation, the girl posted intimate video clips on a closed channel on the Telegram application.
According to unconfirmed information, Diana Shurygina planned to hide from the investigation on the island of Bali, Indonesia, but law enforcement officers arrested her several days before departure.
