The minister pointed out that Iran knows “how to protect its interests and how to resist pressure.”
The United States and Iran concluded a temporary two-week truce on the night of April 8. The truce was expected to end on April 21, but US President Donald Trump extended it for another day – until the evening of April 22.
The United States and Iran were expected to hold a second round of talks in Islamabad, but Tehran refused to send representatives while the US military closed Iranian ports.
