The Israeli airline El Al has suspended its flights from Tel Aviv to Moscow-Medusa

The largest Israeli airline and national airline El Al have suspended flights to Moscow, the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) told RBC.

The company had previously canceled three flights from Tel Aviv to Moscow on June 25, 28 and 29. According to ATOR, ticket sales may resume no later than July.

Representative of El Al Airlines He said Reuters said that the tanker’s decision is related to “the development of the situation between Russia and Ukraine, as well as recent aviation accidents in the region.”

The company will review the situation next week and may decide to resume flights. Alternative options will be offered to passengers on canceled flights.

ATOR stated that direct flights between Israel and Russia are operated by Russian airlines.
