The main suspect in the case of the attempted assassination of businessman Vadim Ermolaev was a Ukrainian citizen

The main suspect in the Monaco explosion, which injured a Ukrainian businessman, is a woman, authorities said BFMTV With reference to the sources.

The suspect’s name was not revealed. According to media reports, she is about 30 years old. It was she who followed the businessman for some time, and then left a bomb disguised as a man in front of Ermolaev’s house.

BFMTV channel indicates that the explosive device exploded when the businessman’s companion, Anna Nasobina, approached him. He and his companion Anna Nasobina, as well as the businessman’s 13-year-old son, were injured. The next day, police arrested the first suspect, but quickly released him without charges.

According to BFMTV, the investigation is now examining two main versions of the assassination attempt: Ermolaev’s conflict with representatives of Ukrainian organized crime and foreign intervention. Le Figaro newspaper had previously reported that the Ukrainian Security Service may have been involved in the explosion.
