Russian authorities have begun negotiations with Apple to return the Max messenger app to the App Store, the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev, said at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg.
“Max” disappeared from the App Store on June 3.
Apple said it removed the app from the Store “in accordance with sanctions compliance guidelines.” The company did not specify which penalties Max violated.
