This is not a drone attack – Medusa

A fire broke out at the Antipinsky oil refinery in Tyumen.

The regional government said one of the filtration systems caught fire. The reason for this was called “violation of the technological process.”

The authorities separately stressed that the widespread information that the fire was caused by a drone attack is incorrect.

Antipinsky Oil Refinery is the largest independent oil refinery in Russia. Its production capacity is 7.5 million tons of oil annually.

Tyumen is located about two thousand kilometers from the Russian-Ukrainian border.

In recent months, Ukrainian drones have regularly attacked oil refineries in Russia, even the Ural Mountains.

The burning of Tuapse, the bombing of Bryansk, a large-scale drone raid on Moscow, the rain of oil on Perm and Ryazan – all this happened in 2026. Ukraine appears to be striking deeper into Russian territory more often. But is this really so?
