Tim Cook is leaving Apple. John Ternus will take his place – Medusa

Apple has announced that John Ternos will become its new CEO, effective September 1, 2026, NBC News reported on April 20.

Tim Cook, who has led the company for the past 15 years, will serve as CEO.

John Ternos is now senior vice president of hardware engineering at Apple.
