The Russian President stressed that the United States is sincerely seeking to resolve the conflict, but it is primarily “a matter for Russia and Ukraine.”
On May 10, information appeared in the media that the possibility of Donald Trump forcing Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to make territorial concessions in Donbass remains high. According to Ukrainian journalists, after Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustam Umarov was summoned to the United States, “the Ukrainian leader did not dare to oppose” Trump and support the truce he proposed with Russia.
