Ukraine will force Russia to ‘choose peace’ if Kiev appears to ‘get what we discussed with our G7 partners’ – Meduza

Vladimir Zelensky said in his evening speech that Ukraine expects help from its partners, which was discussed at the G7 summit, to force Russia to “choose peace.”

Our operation, including in Crimea, is clearly calculated. And the way this is going on proves conclusively: If Ukraine gets what we talked about with our G7 partners – and this depends on the partners’ decision – we will quickly create the conditions under which Russia will be forced to choose peace.

Zelensky added that Ukraine is counting a lot on the positive response from its partners, who “clearly know what they are talking about.” What exactly this means, the President of Ukraine did not reveal.

In his speech, Zelensky also noted that Ukrainian long-range strikes are achieving their goals by disrupting Russian military logistics, and fuel shortages have already been observed due to attacks on refineries in more than 60 Russian regions.
