The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said that more than 430 drones have been flying in the direction of the Moscow region since the evening of July 6.

According to him, the air defense forces neutralized most of the drones on distant approach. 36 drones were shot down as they approached Moscow.

At all four Moscow airports (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Zhukovsky) night flying restrictions have been imposed.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said that the air defense forces shot down 452 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions during the night.

On the evening of July 6, the acting governor of the Belgorod region, Alexander Shuvaev, announced a missile attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on the region. According to him, most of the shells were shot down, but civilian infrastructure was damaged.

Initially, Shuvaev reported three victims. He soon wrote about a second missile attack and explained that as a result of the first attack a civilian was killed in the village of Belovskoye, Belgorod region. Shuvaev noted that in Belgorod, as a result of the impact, a fire broke out at an infrastructure facility. It is not clear from his message what he is talking about.
