American rapper Kanye West performed a concert in Istanbul. During the days of the show, the Turkish city was filled with fans of the musician, including Russian celebrities.
Therefore, blogger and TV presenter Victoria Bonya came to listen to the idol. According to her, she specifically went to Istanbul because she was waiting for the rapper to perform.
-I really wanted to go to Kanye West’s concert. I rarely go to concerts. Bonya admitted that the only big concert she had ever attended before was Madonna’s concert.
The TV presenter was happy with the offer, but during the trip she encountered an unpleasant situation at the airport. According to Bonnie, the man got out of line because she was distracted for a moment. She called on Russians to respect others and be patient in daily life situations.
Actress Natalia Rudova also attended Kanye West’s concert. She posted video clips from the show on her personal blog, in which she danced to the tunes of the music.
West himself said that his Istanbul concert was the largest paid stadium performance in history. According to him, more than 118 thousand people attended this event. Previously, the record was held by Coldplay, whose concert in Ahmedabad, India, attracted more than 111,000 visitors.
Earlier, British authorities banned Kanye West from entering the country. The artist planned to perform at the Wireless Festival in London in the summer, but was refused entry, deeming the performer’s appearance undesirable.
